Biography

Htein Lin's work, inspired by the 2018 Rohingya village attacks and the 2021 Myanmar coup, pays homage to Picasso's ‘Guernica.’ This piece reflects the pain and anxiety of Rohingya and Myanmar citizens, delivering a powerful message through the Monoprint technique. Htein Lin’s art, with its witty and humorous approach, addresses free thought, creativity, social dedication, personal will, and the themes of oppression and freedom. His works metaphorically reflect the aspects and characteristics of Myanmarsociety.
